so today was picnic day, and i must say..it was awesome as if i was at Disney land..haha
Us Ducks(me, preston, david) got there around noon.
- 1st agenda was to look for my bud, Peony, before her shift on the Dunk Tank was over. ahh..with only 1 ball, i was soo close on my 1st and only attempt! but i'm glad i missed..haha -= )
- Bumped into Esther, Hai, and Jon in the quad as we looked for food. it was nice hanging out with them.
- HIGHLIGHT of the day: the size of 1 of my pizza was noticeably 2 slices, and i only paid for 2...so it was like i got 1 slice free! boo-yah! -=D
- sooo..before Picnic Day, i have only been to like say...1/3 of campus?!! haha..and i FIANLLY found them smelly cows!
- I was as close to a cow as i have ever been today, tipping distance..hehe ;) but they're soo massive i myself might not even be strong enough to!
- had a chance to milk some cows for free, but had to pass on that wondrous opportunity i must say -=p
- Finally we made it to the dog events, pretty cool is was!
- as for the dog race, i would've probably won something had i made a real bet for the lavender puppy..lol
Right after Picnic Day, was softball practice. I cant throw/pitch for crap...sorry preston..haha. but i do believe i'm getting the hang of it quick! 1st game's tomorrow @600pm! and hopefully by our last game, i'll really get the hang of it..lol -= )
softball's really tires me out -=p

ahh, cant seem to get this out of my system..
so i FINALLY got to try Todai's for my dad's bday last nite, but something got in my way and distracted the heck outta me from FEASTING on ALL them fooood!! ahh, i was beyond excited that i finally, FINALLY get to go after disappointing a friend of mine countless time for not going with him cuz of the expense before. up until i finally sat down on our table -=( it wasn't an upset tummy (which used to always happen JUST before going to HomeTown >=( ), wasn't cuz i ate too much earlier in the day or wasn't in the mood to feast, nor was it the overly charged priced for some good ol' Todai's. It certainly wasn't cuz i was too embarrassed of stuffing myself silly in front of my parents or having people stare at my fat stack of plates and think, "you pig!" lol.
i was captivated by this form of beauty totally foreign to me. (of ALL the times and of all the places, it had to find me in Todai's...dang it >=(..haha) ok, i dont even know how to describe that person...wouldn't say she's HOT or drop dead gorgorous, nor was she too nerdy? ok..her simplicity turned beauty(if that makes any sense) really got me off guard. it was soo weird, but i found myself in a situation where the both of us wanted to make eye contact and try to grab each other's attention, but trying not to let the other know..and what made it even more werid was that both of our parents were sitting with us in our respected tables..
so during dinner, i was trying to understand what some friends meant by telling me to be more "confident" with myself over the years. is it:
1) go up and say hi given the right moment? (not my nature to do so?)
2) continue to act like i dont notice her and hope she comes up and say something first? (this never happens, for me at least)
i think people confuse me with having too pride as in not giving in to the person first VS being just plain shy...or are they the same thing? i am confused, but one thing for sure was that i actually wanted to get to know the person to see if what i saw in her was true or not, and not knowing so kinda bugs me. and i have come to the conclusion that i would not have the slightest idea what to do if she came up to me first or if i wanted to go up to her first.
so sadly, i wasn't totally focused on my crabs and all them food thanx to that. oh well -=p

numbness. its funny how you can have the best thing you've always wished happen to you and not realize it until afterwards and be like, "wow, did that really happen like that.." but, what does anything mean if the one small and simplest of all things is not there even though your sole wish in years had finally come true? nothing?..my physical lip is trying to state the obivious that the wish coming true is obviously far greater than the only simple things i just wanted..
Though i appreciated it beyond anything and that i should be beyond happy as well..i'm not and it's quite the opposite, sadly. As much as i want the exterior to prevail even tho it may not seem like it, whatever inside isn't letting me anymore when some tiny and simple things are missing, especially when you know if it was anyone else...it would've happened in a flash :(
yuup. it's always everyone but me, but that's not what hurts...it's watching it happen before your very eyes.
yah i'm werid, but thanx Bearlee for letting me feel alive again even if it was only for that brief moment.
well, better work like crazy now if i am to finish the dvd by tomorrow. -=T

As stuff build up deep down, i long to scream at the top of my lungs till they explode and go for broke in an attempt to drive and dunk over the fattiest giant on the bball court with everything i've got and defy all laws of physics/gravity with the ligaments in my calves and knees tearing to pieces..
heh, its funny how i long to feel that way, cuz then and only then, i can say i can wake up to a brand new day after helplessly collapsing and lying on the cold floor...longing to just have that "ok" feeling and be content with it..
[wouldn't that be nice.]
that sounds a bit selfish, but i dont care.
